Protest as typically practiced involved parading through city streets confronting police leading to civil unrest of fires, vandalism, looting and property destruction, even attacks upon police officers. This phenomena has long been proven by real life examples to fail and fail predictably. Protest involves emotionalism only and cannot be constructive. A study and review of the Civil Rights Movement will inform advocates and activists alike so the failures of the past will not be repeated.
In the darkness and suffering catalyzed by the alleged homicide of George Loyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota in May 25, 2020 do this and be insulated and protected both from Sars-covid-2 plague and equal rights disparity for all non-white citizens of any country, particularly the United States of America:
Realize that this is your country and must be claimed legally and raised up, not damaged and minorities constantly deprived of their lawful place in society. Do not allow oneself to succumb to the tricks and traps through which minorities can be claimed by propaganda and videos as unlawful dangerous rioters from which only a strong law enforcement can keep the law abiding public safe.
This is the repeated playbook of dictators who foment discord, capitalize on other agents that do so for their own divisive political agendas, then apply overwhelming police and military forces to stop protests lest they mutate into riots. Thusly by political schemes, the political campaign of the President can be re-reinforced under a law and order and economic savior basis to ensure election in November 2020.
What must one do? Stop any and all protesting to remove the wind from anti-minority propaganda.
Instead, stand quietly in from of each and every building in the downtown core of every city to protect against the malefactors that will break enter and loot to the bad image of protesters. Each guard must carry an American flag and Bible from their back pack, not rocks and fireworks. both openly displayed. Openly read from it before the crowds for the edification of the public, not as a photo-op for anyone.
Practice safe distancing (9 feet or 3 metres separation) and wearing of mask and gloves for disease protection and show best health example.
Clean up where one can with broom, sprayed defacing removal and lifting of debris.
Observe all laws including curfew automatically.
Give donations to help crowd fund the looted stores, regardless of race or ethnicity, without fanfare.
It is not limiting if only one, even no person, young, old, crippled, grieving helps.
The sooner many hands make a movement, the sooner civil rights will be established to a new Civil Rights Act with federal enforcement to protect all citizens from systemic abuses far too long permitted by the very elected representatives who are supposed to work for the public. And the sooner people will stop being killed and oppressed by government authorities. Reclaim your nation now lawfully with unconditional community support, not ranting and violence and stay safe from diseases including flu coming this fall to add to the Sars-Covid-2 scourge.
